Crispy buttermilk fried chicken tossed in Nashville hot oil, tucked into a folded mini waffle instead of a tortilla, with a drizzle of maple-hot honey and a few bread-and-butter pickle chips to cut the heat. Three to an order. I grew up on chicken and waffles the traditional way, and one day just started folding the waffle around the chicken like a taco shell — turns out it’s a much better way to actually eat it without a fork.
